RIM also designed the Chrysler Uconnect software interface, which is currently recognized as the absolute best automotive UI. I would be ecstatic if my Sync worked as well and was as intuitive as the 8.4 Uconnect in my wife's '14 Ram 1500.only thing that turns me off is Rim(blackberry) has their paws on it....and from what we've seen it's so white and grey and not very pretty of an ui.
I mean it's going to do the same thing in the long run as the current offering.
I see no reason to wait on it...we are supposed to be getting a mustang because of what it is not for it's tablet wanna be interface!
I'm going to keep my eye on the Parrot RNB 6. At the end of the day I just want Android Auto, which Sync 3 probably won't have.
Parrot RNB 6 - Best Of Innovation Award - CES 201…:
I'm eyeing the Parrot RNB6 as well, it looks promising and hopefully will gather good reviews upon release.I hope Parrot can deliver this as well. Sync 2 is terribly slow.
They haven't done many updates since they stabilized it anyway. If it does what it needs to do (and does now, I don't really have any complaints) then I'm fine with it as-is.My biggest fear is Ford discontinuing updates once Sync 3 comes out.
