Waiting for sync3...

So much of this wait for sync3 stuff. To anyone who bought a base or is looking to buy a 2016 base, does that even matter? The base models look like they're carrying over the same software.

Are the capabilities of the base systems going to be the same? If you can text hands-free in the 2016 base I will be surprised...and perhaps a little upset

Base is unchanged between the two years except for the hood turn-signals as far as I know.

Base model sync modules are unchanged from the 15's. Sync 3 only applies to previous MyFord Touch applications.

In case you havent seen it, according to Autoguide, SYNC 3 doesn't suck.
