The strips look good on these cars. If it looks good, go for it. I want a TY so I'm limited as to what I can do with color's. The black looks good.I had someone here photoshop one up for me in white. Not to bad but, do you think Pearl white strips would match better? or look worse than the plain white?.
So, do you guys have any suggestions as to a color that would look nice with TY besides black? No red's, it would look like a Ronald McDonald car lol. Or just leave it TY and be happy with it.

Kind of strong wording but I can't disagree. I think the stripes are a little too "boy racer" and I would feel odd driving a car with huge stripes every day to work. I would feel a little embarrassed about it; the non-car people would think I'm (more of) a goofball.

Having said that I do like the stripes with certain colors. I see other cars with stripes like Camaros and Challengers on the street all the time and I do think a lot of them look good.

The heritage colors are understandable, but I would be surprised if Ford sells a lot of them. They just aren't that good looking to me. My GF said the same thing. Maybe a lot of nostalgic older Ford guys will buy them, though.

I have to admit that I like to drive hard at times and I don't need stripes calling attention to me. That definitely will enter into my decision as well.

Stripes on bright colors help break it up. Yellow, Orange, Red and White.

Darker colors don't need stripes as much.

That's my 2nd choice. I guess no one wanted to chime in on a color for
stripes on a TY? I suppose with TY your out of luck for colors beside Black.
I wanted to see what you guys thought about Pearl White since the
TY has a translucent cast to it. might look good? :shrug:

I had a 13 School Bus Yellow Boss and the black stripes were necessary to keep it from being too much. I really don't think you have many options besides black, or maybe a silver or gray. White would make it too bright, and any other color would just clash. My $.02 so take if as that.

Oh well, so much for that. Guess I will just leave it TY no strips as all the TY's will
have the black strip's I guess. Just trying to be a little different, but thanks for your input.
