Just had this system in stalled and Wow! It's magnificent.
Coming from a Borla S-type with H-pipe it is a drastic improvement.
No drone, no rasp, very deep and throaty. Cabin noise is good, WOT is an exhaust note I've never heard, sounds very tuned, deep and refined.

Here's my quick story.
Had the S-Type with an H-Pipe system on and loved the volume in the cabin and low cruising tone, but hated the WOT rasp and the "trumpet fart" when downshifting. Every time I got on it, I was worried I was going to be pulled over, it was far far too loud and the rasp was horrible. Tried several things regarding the mid resonator. Removed the H-Pipe and tried the following resonators : black widow race (too high pitched), Flowmaster Super 10 (nice and deep, but too quiet and drone), Magnaflow dual in and out (too quiet). Finally decided to pull the system and go with the AWE - it's perfect. Cold start up is loud, Idle is old school muscle car. WOT is deep and throaty, burps and gurgles on downshifts for days, doesn't trumpet fart when revmatch downshifting and cabin noise is great with no drone.

i cannot recommend this system enough, it's phenomenal.

Christian is right. Their support team was super helpful and the product is top notch. This car sounds like a Panther man, it’s an amazing exhaust experience!

Clean, deep growl. Sounds good. I think an X would be better but that's just how my ears work. Really nice looking system too.

Thanks man! I dunno, X brings out more rasp. It was the rasp I was trying to get away from. I wouldn't change a thing about this system. AWE nailed it.

I listened to both of your clips ("before" and "after" your AWE install) and have to say yes, AWE is far superior to your previous one to my ear.

Have you had a chance to drive for any amount of time on the highway? If so, how was it?

Thanks man! Yea it's far better and the audio clip isn't the best either. I'll do another one when the weather gets better. Yes, I have taken it on the highway, sounds great, cabin noise is pretty substantial, in fact very substantial. Just the right amount of "burble" to be pleasing while highway cruising and no drone.
I did my research man, I listened to and studied every possible system including :

Borla Atak, Krona, Valve Exhaust, Thermal R&D, MBRP, Kooks, Gibson, Corsa, Ford Performance and on and on. The AWE sounds the best - by far. Best way to describe it is like a Panther, very deep growl.

While I had the old set up, I had a buddy from this forum recommend losing the H-Pipe and going with a Flowmaster super 10 in the mid section. This did sound good, and was very deep and "hollow", but it introduced drone. This AWE is deep, very deep....... I'm suprised at how deep it is and how they managed to keep out the drone is awesome.

I'm just pleased because honestly I love everything about this car (sans the MT-82) and the exhaust was just ruining it for me. These coyote's sound terrible. NO more. Car sounds great now!

I will admit, it’s much louder than I thought. Very deep and loud. Not a bad thing, just surprised .
