I have the system on my car, just got it a week ago and I am not pleased. Initially, Loved it, but then noticed very very bad cabin noise and pressure. The system also Drones at highway speeds. This is by far the loudest in cabin system I've ever experienced, can't even have a conversation without raising your voice.
I saw your posts in the other thread, and I sympathize with your issue. Just a thought - there are some members here from Texas who run what I think is a similar system by Thermal R&D (I have it as well), that sounds similar to AWE. There are videos /threads posted on the forum, but I think if you have an opportunity to hear it in person to see whether you may have an issue with yours or maybe it is your expectations vs. reality.

Everyone who hears mine says it's the best sounding Mustang they've heard. It is loud in the cabin when getting on it, but cruising, just enough sound to know it's there but not obnoxious at all. I love mine.

I agree - exterior sound is fantastic, but for me the interior cabin noise is terrible. Way Way to present. Not sure I’ll be able to quiet it down, I’m more than likely going to have to eat the $2200 and get another system.

Have you tried putting some sound deadening in the floor of the cabin?

Active exhaust is really the only "all in" solution on these cars. You will never find static system that provides a great sound, and isn't too loud, and doesn't drone etc. You will always have to make some sort of compromise.

I don't agree with that. The Borla S-Type system I had with the stock resonators wasn't too loud and didn't drone, neither did the same configuration but with an H Pipe, nor with a magnaflow resonator, nor with a black widow resonator.... All in every active mode, not too loud and didn't drone - I just didn't care for the raspy tone.
