I’m probably going to order GT500 CFTP springs, but if you get them before I do let me know before and after ride height. I hear rumors they are lower than regular GT500, but I don’t know if I trust that after my M1 experience. I never experienced a height change after going from non-HP to HP springs while some claim there is a ride height change outside of the different tire sizes.
Found this post from a guy claiming to have both springs and that the CFTP springs are indeed shorter:

Also messaged Levittown and they gave me part number KR3Z-5310-A for the front springs for a base GT500 VIN from an online listing.

Bought a set of front base GT500 springs from another 6G member, can’t wait till spring to see if they fit! KR3V-5310-AD.

Please report back because I want to put the GT500 Base springs in the front. I already have GT500 base springs in the rear of my Mach 1 with HP package.

I hope you measure the height difference on the front bumper from the ground.

So it turns out that the base GT500 springs are identical in shape to the handling package Mach 1 springs. The only difference is the wire diameter, the Mach is .565” and the 500 is .600”. GT500 spring is on the left. Seems to fit OK in the stock seats.

Now the bad news: got everything put back together and measured the front lip clearance. It was 1.75 inches higher than stock! Drove it up and down the block and it lowered a half inch but it is still 1.25 inches higher than stock. Hopefully if I drive it a little more, it settles out, although it is nice not having to worry about scraping at the end of the driveway!

I bought them from another forum member but you could certainly buy a set from Ford.

Tried, they were on back order. I hope somebody comes on here and tell me where a set is hiding at.

Makes me wonder how much heavier the gt500 motor and Trans is. When looking at the spring picture closeup I was wondering about this.
If I had a stock hp car I couldn't get past the curb in front of my house.
