If you get an extended warranty. There’s a reason why Ford doesn’t make FPC engines anymore, and why the Predator/Aluminator aren’t FPC engines. A GT350 with a Coyote is a Mach 1. 😂

I came to this thread for happy engine noises, not GT350 slander noises
Yeah I am a bit bummed about where this thread is going. I wish that everyone could just stay in their lane and not swarm on each other. I posted this in the GT350 Forum section (NOT THE GT FORUM) and not because my car is the greatest and everyone else's suck, but because I was excited about the article and that the 350 was included in a list of great sounding cars. I am a car enthusiast who loves all different makes, models, etc.
I was at a gas station last week and a guy with a Fox Body was filling up. Had a great conversation with him and made it a point to look for things about his car to compliment him on. I wasn't there to tear him down or criticize his choice of vehicles. When he pulled away I was thinking... dang that sounds really good.
I just got done chatting with a guy who was getting his 91 Porsche Carrera Targa detailed. The day before I was admiring a Corvette C8.

Agreed. I LOVE all cars :) Just because I don't care for the sound of the VooDoo doesn't mean the car isn't a fantastic car. :) I don't care for a totally uncorked Coyote either. Catless headers and open exhaust is a raspy mess that is just awful sounding. Everyone has their own taste. I compliment all my friends that have Shelby's regularly, and we ride as often as we can. I personally think one of the best sounding engines of all time is the narrow angle VW VR6, specifically the 3.2 liter 24 valve version in the R32. Very nice sounding engine.

I think my previous post was pretty clearly sarcasm but if not, I do absolutely LOVE the Voodoo. Reliability is a non-issue for me, would not be afraid to have one in the garage (have chased a few R’s).

I also just love the sound of an old big block, those are my faves (thus Petty’s Superbird being my favorite of the article). The GT350 would be 2nd from that particular list.

I'm glad that they didn't list or rank them in any particular order. Not sure how they decided where to stop in regards to number of cars. I'm sure there were others to consider....

Definitely lots of good ones on the list and more that could be on there for sure.

The Twat Waffles who love to slam the VooDoo engines are usually those who did or could not afford a GT350... it's happened over and over again.
Jealousy is a trait not to be respected.

Adding to UpACurb, you are truly not intimidated by beautiful women!
On another note; here in California we can only get 91 octane gas. There was no way I was going to put octane booster in my car. But, I decided to buy some VP Racing Fuel (C-9) and mix it with the shitty pump gas. Holy cow, what a difference! Beside a noticeable improvement in performance, the car sounds completely different on cold starts. It’s like a cannon going off at startup. Even my (non-car person) wife came down to the garage asking if I changed the exhaust on the car.
There is absolutely nothing cheap in California. $5.50 for 91 octane.
So what’s another few bucks for awesome fuel, and the smile on my face? Priceless..
Cheers,

Wow… I did not know that Todd may have been the original author of Twat Waffle on the M6G forums.

Lot of people get bent out of shape easily . its just a car , its just an exhaust note . In the big picture we all have opinions that shouldnt matter to anyone else . Someone rags on a car then someone rags on them . Making it personal , makes no sense . Someone dont like my car , house , shoes , insert any inert posssesion , IDGAF . Personal insults are the lowest form of debate . Social Media is not a healthy place for this very reason . No consequences for being an asshole unlike 30 years ago when it had to be face to face . Everyones a bulletproof hero from 1000 miles away . Enjoy your day and be kind to each other and put your exhaust in quiet mode after midnight for your neighbor . Finally a mach1 is just a GT350 with a reliable engine :sunglasses: take it like a man

My GT500 is not a nice sounding as my past two GT350 were, but it is still a better sound that 90% of what I see on the road.

Plus, as an added bonus, I can smoke most of these low-rate Teslas in my area.
