They won't fit over the shock tower brace, I don't think.

The tower brace doesn't fit over the whipple.
The covers do fit over the brace, I had an all black set on before I added the supercharger.

Didn’t “do” anything, per se, but I loaded the trunk to prep for tomorrow.

Pinch well protectors, oil change, BOV swap, rotors and pads.

If you’re making over stock power, I’d 10000% recommend the BMR Lock out kit. Didn’t think it would make that big of a difference but it really does.

Also got the new brakes, Tial BOV and pinch weld protectors on. Oil change for the Mustang and front brakes on my truck coming up tomorrow.

Modified a 3" MBRP H-pipe. Starting from the Stainless Works collectors: 3" X-pipe, then twin - one per side - 12" resonators, and then at 24.5" from the X-pipe is the H-pipe. Sounds good.

Previously I was running a 3" X-pipe through the MBRP 3" exhaust and it was loud and raspy. The combo pipe w/resonators have really cleaned up the sound. Deeper and mellow at cruising speeds w/o the drone. WOT is still a bit obnoxious which I don't mind so much.

Took car out for a quick cruise today. 10 years old and I feel the same excitement as I did the first Day!

Replaced my driver’s side parking brake cable. Pretty simple process unless you have the BMR cradle lockout - the bracket covers one of the parking brake brackets, forcing you to loosen everything on that side to remove the cable. Still a fairly easy job, just a little more time consuming.

Why did you have to replace the cable and where did you source the new one?

The barrel end of the driver's side cable pulled off while releasing the parking brake a while back.

I ordered the replacement cable from RockAuto. $33.79 for a Motorcraft part - had all the correct brackets and fit perfectly.

Replacement is pretty easy. Took me about an hour including partially removing the BMR IRS brace that was in the way.

Cyl #8, detonation, high temperature failure.
Lucky it didn’t go bang at the track.
