I broke off the vacuum nipple on my intake tube(22 with carbon trap), I have repaired it but want to replace the tube. I neve though this would be hard, but I've gotten 3 different PN from various websites and ford dealers...if anyone knows the actual PN for the intake tube, or has one they will part with, let me know. I do have a gt350 tube, as well but I still want the oe tube without my jb weld repair.

Thanks for any help!

I can appreciate the frustration. I do not have an answer. I'm CCing @LevittownFordParts . You can DM them, send them a photo, ask for assistance. They could work with you on confirming part number, price, availability and shipping.

Short story long...

Initially, I looked at some reference photos I took previously of the one in my car. In those, I found a PN# on the resonator chamber and the inlet tube itself. Unfortunately, any queries for those pull up tubes from GTs and other models, not the one I'm interested in.

Next, I went out to several Ford OEM Parts sites. At those, "JR3Z-9B659-A", was a common PN# as a replacement. But checking just now, this part will not fit. One of the vacuum lines in the Ford diagram does not exist on the Mach. And the tube in the diagram does not clamp to the air filter housing; it's secured using an adhesive or it presses in.

General Internet queries yielded nothing meaningful.

I have a complete tube and airbox off of my 23 mach 1. I bought a take off GT350 tube from eBay and swapped it on. You can have the whole thing cheap, I did take out the carbon trap and tossed it, so if you want to use it you can pull yours out and swap it into the new tube.
Send me a PM if your interested.

Hi Joe,
It does not appear to be included and I do not see it listed in our diagrams, I would have to open up a case with Ford using a VIN for them to research it further.

Sorry, gents — I ended up having to go on a business trip to Japan and just got back.

Benny, the tube picture will definitely fit, but it has the vacuum nipple in the same location as the GT350 tube. I have one of those tubes as well, and it fits fine, but the vacuum line ends up rubbing against the hood insulation.

I also still need the tube insert that holds the carbon trap. I removed mine, but one of the tabs snapped off. It still fits fine, but I’d really like to return it to like-new condition. Ill PM you my Vin.

Hi Joe,
I looked into thus further and used another VIN breakdown system to find this part number which I am confident is correct.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,
- Benny
