I'm going to be working on another project for the next two weeks (1/19 - 1/30) and won't be present on Mustang6g. My lovely colleagues, Deysha and Nick, will be stepping in to help out, answer PMs, and keep everybody sane. :D

Thanks Rachel for your help, you found my convertible order before my dealer did, once I had the VIN I was able to track it on COTUS. I was giving my dealer updates instead of the other way around :D

This is my 8th day since delivery, drove it 5x already, just put some miles on it this morning. Starting to get very comfortable with the car, only a few additional features I need to learn, mainly the radio and Synch/MyTouch stuff, and how the alarm system works

I'm very disappointed with Ford right now. Although I love my mustang, it's a hell of a car, I didn't get the treatment I expected from my local rep. In short, I have a factory blemish on my paint, front bumper of the car. It looks like when painted, the paint ran and smeared, causing bubbles and imperfections clearly noticeable. I spoke to support here via Rachel who put me in contact with the right folks, or so I thought. Turns out I got just thrown at the mercy of the dealer and haven't even responded to my voicemails or anyone followed up with me.
I wanted a factory painted bumper, original paint from manufacturer, but I was told Ford doesn't send factory painted parts. It would be the first company I've heard of not doing this. As an example, I've ordered factory body kits, and they have come factory finished in the cars paint code and installed at dealership. In short, just disappointed that I paid for a 40k car and can't get a simple bumper replacement, factory painted, for a mistake or blemish I am not responsible for.
I guess it all goes back to what I originally told myself when I bought the car, you get what you pay for, which I thought was plenty at said price.
Highly disappointed, just incredibly. It's experiences like this that throw loyalty out the door and recommendations seldom, let alone confidence in a company. I haven't wanted to go full blown public bashing on this, because I still have faith it'll be made right, but patience is running thin.

damn sure don't wreck one 14 fing weeks and still waiting on air bags, already cost ford one sell as I bought my first dodge.
