All I wanted was the largest screen i could get and keep HVAC buttons. So for me yes it's worth it.

If the S650 went this route I think they would have been on to a winner for the interior, which is a bit of love hate thing from what I have seen/read.

You kids had it easy, in my day the entire head unit pulled out and we had to carry it around all day. Good thing they came with carry handles!

Seen them I think on Aliexpress. What I have yet to see for any of these options is a RHD version (starter button hole in wrong place for UK in all the versions I have seen), which is a shame.

Yes I think it can tap into and display it.

They did. Initially I wondered about the extra toggle since it had more toggles than I had buttons on the base model. The far right toggle is for "mode" it basically switches the modes of the head unit. It's actually quite convenient when wanting to switch between HVAC controls Android auto or just standard radio.
