In regards to the CAI, nothing yet. X pipe is scheduled for March 15 which as in ETA it could change, hopefully for the better.

Still prying them for more info brother.

I want to hear the side exhaust.

I went to a swap meet in moultry Georgia and ford racing was there with their supercharged guard s550. It had the side exhaust and I talked them into starting it and revving it a little. It sounds great, identical to the ford racing sport exhaust but a heck of a lot louder. Their car also had the sport exhaust on it so that probably is why it sounded the way it did. My neighbors would hate me if I got it. [emoji2]

It's the same setup as the Boss 302 essentially.

I'm sure it's louder since sound it coming out 2 side pipes and 2 rear mufflers; that was the idea of it. I wouldn't buy it personally, as the FR Sport is too mellow for me, but it's a good part. The only Ford Racing exhaust I felt sounded "good" or like a true V8 was the Ford Racing Stingers (Borla S-type) offered on the S197.

It's also over $1,000 just for the piece in your photo- the X with the side pipes. No midpipes no mufflers. Not worth it imo

if I wanted to be like nascar i know what exhaust to get lol.

that thing is probably way to loud. I've heard side exhausts before on older mustangs and you can't miss them that's for sure

I think the side exhausts have blocking plates ala B302?

Edit: NM they do not..

They should tho, it'd be easier for daily life

I remember seeing some part numbers for it, but I have no idea when they will release it. I know that I read over in the Ecoboost section that their ford racing tune wouldn't come out until late this year so I would expect the gt tune to come out around then also.

I'm with you on that! I would really love a CAI & Tune and not have to worry about warranty issues!
yep that's exactly why I would choose FRPP over aftermarket.

Ford is really dragging their feet with these parts....

Not as bad as Dodge with their Scat Pack stages..but still pretty bad.

It's pretty weird given they've had access to the car longer than anyone. I know their products go through more rigorous testing, but this is getting ridiculous.
