I'm waiting for someone to put the rear louvers on their car first.
I will take pictures. Before and After.

The side panel - Its vinyl. Make your own
Not sure how much vinyl costs or where to get. Assuming AM is quality vinyl and precut (?). I guess my question, other than the self gratification of DIY, how much cheaper would it be to do myself?

The louvers are a bit too 70's for me!
That's fair - True! I love the look on many older cars. I have not seen a good set on 5G Camaro's. I think the S550 has a retro-ish rear but not the front IMO. I hope with the rear louvers it'll flow well. I guess only time will tell.

Anyone interested in the MRT rear window louver? Would like to see pictures on a car and not a mock-up as seen on their site. My other question is will the price go up after the pre-order?

Some cars it looks good and some it doesn't. I don't want to tint my back window to mess with the auto-dimming feature on the rear view mirror so I'm thinking this might be a good alternative and maintain visibility(?).

I'm trying to imagine the look with MRT rear window louver with the Black Quarter Window Blackout made by American Muscle. http://www.americanmuscle.com/quarter-window-blackout-brushed-2015.html

Hey Charles - That's a good question and a tough one! I've yet to see a '15 equipped with both! I wonder if there's a PhotoShop junkie in here that could help us take a look!

I've seen vintage '70s era Mustangs with rear window louvers and I think they look GREAT! I think it's cool in a retro way for sure.

Being a child of the 60s and 70s, I think it looks pretty groovy, but I also want to see multiple pictures of it before I lay down my hard earned green.

Ruck - I think they're defintiely pretty trick - I had all sorts of scoops and louvers on my '08 Bullitt for some time (Being a child of the 80's I'm pretty impulsive and impatient and working here allows me to mix and match parts almost on a daily basis :headbang::D)

...I'm picking up what you're putting down!

We should hopefully have some on car pictures of both soon! We're working with the guys at MMD to get their parts on our shelves as fast as possible!

I have the louvers on order which should arrive late-Feb and the Quarter Blackouts will be in Checkout cart very soon along with some pipes. Thanks for the 6G code, Alex.

Definitely willing to share pictures. I'd be willing to drive up to PA as well if you need a car model.

They do look nice. I wonder how they mount to the window frame, and how much they rattle after they have heat cycled over a summer...

Being aluminum, how much flex (sag or bowe) will they have down the middle?

Looks about as appropriate on a 2015 Mustang as orange shag carpet interior and crushed velvet seats.

MRT is who I'm looking at for the rear louver as well so I'm in the same boat wanting a real picture.

Also I have my rear window tinted and I don't have any problem with the auto-dim as far as I can tell. I have never had a problem seeing out of my rear view window at night so I am assuming my tint blocks the type of light the rear view is detecting.

There is very little cooler than a 1970 Mach 1. So too 70's doesn't make sense to me. Early 70's mustangs were awesome!!!
