Thanks for being one of the trial and error Guinea Pigs so that I could get a flawless car!:like:

I also now hold you accountable for the delay on my initial build date, but sorry that the factory install of those vibrating seats was such a pain in the arse. :sunglasses:

Next time you change your oil, look and see what time they wrote on your rack...

lol, slightly related…but there’s more than one wing splice plate flying over your head that may or may not have my name on it 😂

And sat at a rail yard for over a month. Right next to @Epiphany car.

I remember that fiasco. After our cars went off the radar for a few weeks, I spent some time sleuthing, got a number for the rail yard and called. They wanted to know how I got the number. I just explained how important the car was to me and that I was trying to plan to drive it from Missouri to Buffalo in January - a potential disaster if I didn't time it just right with the weather. Guy on the phone says "what color is it?" I answered white with a black roof. He said "I'm staring at it right now through my office window."

I then got on the phone immediately with Nick, our dealer, and he got the yard to allow him to go in and quickly remove a small number of the vehicles on hold. Crazy thing is, the same thing happened with my Bronco Raptor last May and Nick pulled it off again.

I drove 16 hrs straight through on my way home from the dealer with my new 500. Through the night, in sub freezing weather. It was mid twenties near Cleveland, I was hauling ass, sliding and puckering along the way. I don't plan on recreating those circumstances ever again.

I have a MR for mine Tob but I'm wondering how you did the math with the info on it, were you using the VIN's to get the five positions? Mine is attached.

Sitting in prison at the rail yard in KC for over a month, front row on left. The rain you see...it was early January 2020 and it had already snow stormed throughout the midwest and north east. We had a freak few days in the 30's with rains that covered pretty much my exact pathway back home. In other words, we had a couple day window where there was no salt on the roads. I jumped on a plane to KC, Nick picked me up from the airport and we had the deal done in very short order at the dealership and was ready to roll.

The building I had called, rail employee up on top floor could see it out of the window as we talked about its imprisonment and how to set up a jail break.

Cleaned up at the dealer for my journey home with a fancy looking red one off to the right!
