Pandora on MFT--Possible?

Is it possible to play Pandora on My Ford Touch? If possible would prefer this to Sirius.

Disclaimer… I don't have my Mustang yet, but…

I did this in a demo car. You can either do it via BlueTooth audio or plugging you phone into the AUX port. You have to run Pandora on your phone, then play it through one of those sources.

There isn't a way to control Pandora from the MFT. I think you can pause and play, but you can't change to other channels, or use the app to its fullest.

I don't have my car yet either, BUT, when I hooked my phone up view bluetooth in a 2013 Fusion with MFT I was able to use track up to skip songs in Pandora and Spotify. Can''t confirm or deny the same with the Mustang.

The lack of this ability was my biggest disappointment. I really thought it could be controlled on the screen in a 40k car but it isn't supported.

The comment above are accurate. You would do it the same way you'd play other music on your phone. What I haven't tried is USB. That may allow simply pause and next.

FWIW, SYNC 3 will have a pandora app on the radio.

+1. My 6 year old Acura had the same play by bluetooth capability as the new Mustang. No excuse for not having AppLink.

I've never used the apps in any car regardless of the manufacture.Bluetooth makes everything sound worse. Aux it is

Yes, pandora supports applink.

Also check out the other thread I just put up, Sync Gen 3 is going to support accessing your phone Nav - i.e. you look it up on google maps then transfer it to your Sync Nav. There's a whole bunch of really key features coming out next year on Gen 3; obviously I can't say anything beyond what's released publicly, but I can tell you the engineers find MFT to be just as much of a headache as customers do.

when i had my lightning cable hooked up to USB, i remember pandora applink was working.

ive since just started streaming over bluetooth and have never seen it work that way again.

i didnt like the way it was working over MFT anyway, it gave the thumbs up/thumbs down keys, but it didnt indicate whether or not ive already thumbed it up.

i have a phone mount that displays my pandora/waze anyway and i just use that interface.

Not sure I can actually answer that, but the Ford website does describe Sync Gen 3 is a touted feature for future vehicles
