Thanks, will do. Unfortunately I won't get to see most if not all of the install since Tasca is doing it. I'm gonna talk with the mechanic doing the work and ask him to try and take tons of pictures for me. Tasca does include a before and after dyno run so I'll be sure to list those. My car is going in with only a FFRP Sport exhaust on it.

Here's to hoping. Are you doing the install yourself? I usually do but Tasca is going to "facilitate" warranty issues (if any) since they did the install. Bummed I'm not doing it myself and a little [emoji769] relieved if you know what I mean. Tasca is a great shop let me tell you. They hooked me up BIG TIME so much so that when all is said and done I will have saved a significant amount of money compared to having the Roush installed and then getting the stage 1 to stage 3 kit installed whenever it was released.

I went all out and got the dual fan inter cooler and massive throttle body as well and will still net less money than the Roush setup. Win win as far as I'm concerned.

Good luck with your system,

Jaime

I look forward to seeing pics. I am excited to get the Whipple kit. I am going to install it myself. I have always installed parts myself. However, I am going to let a shop install my headers.

I always do my own installs including headers lol. This is the first time I had a warranty to worry about. That's why Tasca is doing it and not me. I don't see ANY dealership helping get a powertrain warranty issue approved if it was supercharged by someone other than the dealer. I cancelled my extended warranty and am considering the $1,500 for install my insurance policy for piece of mind that Tasca will push through things that most likely would be deemed not covered if I install myself. And I figure getting 2 dyno runs would cost a few hundred bucks at least and they include a before and after with that price.

Enjoy your install because it is fun.

Question........is Tasca offering their own warranty? To my knowledge there is no Ford coverage of any type on whipple, regardless who installs.

Well, today is a big day for me! Tasca called me Monday and said my Whipple kit will be in this Friday 2/13 :) Then much to my surprise they said they were sending the mechanic who will be installing it with an enclosed trailer to pick up my car today!

How unbelievable is that? I have over 3.5' of snow here in Mass and there ain't no way I could drive it to Tasca. I have never heard of any performance place or especially a dealership doing this.

So excited. I will keep everyone posted :)

IDK for sure but if it was a big name warranty company you may be able to. Call your salesperson, not the F&I guy. The F&I guy will probably be back charged his commission if it is canceled, you won't get any help from them.
