The 2016 Mustang GT in my sig was severely damaged by a hail storm. It is at the shop now being repaired. I was not sure if State Farm was going to total it or not and we went a few rounds getting an estimate I was happy with. During that process, I was researching a replacement and decided on either a Mach 1 or a GT350.
I brought her home today. Maybe the previous owner is on here and can share some information (?).
2021 FJG Mach 1 w/handling package. Leather, B&O sound system, Tremec 6 speed (like the good lord intended). I am in love with her. Only 2300 miles, but I have the impression a lot of those were on a track. No Cup 2 tires, the front brake pads are a bit thin, and the accelerometer has some impressive numbers. Regardless if it was tracked, it has obviously been cared for and with the low miles/MY/purchase date, it still has some warranty left.
No plans to supercharge this one. Likely I will just tint the windows, add an MGW shifter, and upgrade brake pads/rotors when needed for track use. Speaking of which......first track day is this Saturday! I already have some AR924's wrapped in RE71RS tires for her.
Previous owner did put my absolute least favorite tires on the rear wheels.......NT555G2's....ughhh.....They grip for shit. At least the fronts are Pilot Sport 4S's. Thank you for that!
