My first car was a 1960 Austin Healey 100-6 in high school, fun car. My first mode of transportation was a 1972 Yamaha 175 enduro that I traded for the Austin Healey. Then 4 years later lucked out getting a 64 tri power GTO, even more fun car.

I thought the Cadillac XLR was pretty cool when it came out too

It always puzzles me that at the same time Cadillac put a Cadillac motor in a Corvette (XLR) and a Corvette motor in a Cadillac (CTS-V).

I miss the days when "tuner cars" actually had unique engine work done. That's why I said 1992 SLP Firehawk up front. Lingenfelter and others continued internal engine mods for the LT1s for a while. Nowadays, Roush, Shelby, and others are just installing the same supercharger kits we can buy and slapping on a $50k upcharge or more.

It always puzzles me that at the same time Cadillac put a Cadillac motor in a Corvette (XLR) and a Corvette motor in a Cadillac (CTS-V).

Also, the XLR and Vette were built on separate lines side by side in the Bowling Green, KY assembly plant. Corvette chassis with caddy electronics and body.

Yep, but the "original" was from the 1999 version of The Thomas Crown Affair with Pierce Brosnan and Renee Russo...well before RR's version.

Rumor is that the car was originally intended for Ah-nold in The Last Action Hero, but was later scrubbed for that duty. It was revamped a bit and repurposed for The TCA.

Now I'm in love with my GT350... and I confess to love my 2018 Fusion Sport (fun to drive).

Did you have a favorite? Mustang or not.

The first one I fell in love with was the Saleen S281-E

I've owned many sports cars and convertibles over the years. The MGTD And MGA were early favorites and the Mercedes 300 SL was a car I thought I should have.
