Hey guys. Carvana is offering me $24,800 for my 2019 GTPP with 72,000 mile on it. Paid $39K

I have never had to change the brakes (shockingly). Lots of highway driving. Never changed shocks or struts. Just fluids. I know a lot of this maintenance is just around the corner so it will be someone else's deal. I will be using the monies to furnish my new house.

I will also be getting a 95% refund from Allstate as well on the car.

Any thoughts on the price?

Seems pretty fair given the mileage. Glad to see you drove it!

That's $.20/mile cost for 72K miles. Seems a great cost/fun ratio to me!

Price looks OK from a quick search on Ford Mustang from 2018-2020 - AutoTempest.com

All that matters is YOU'RE happy with that price.
I’m pretty happy with it and I won’t have to transport the car to Florida. So I’m going from 72,000 miles to 2000 miles on the Mach 1.

the non transporting of the car is enough for me to let it go. I sold a car to Caravana when I moved to TN. It s a lot easier to transport a check than a car.

I still have to transport the M1 but it’ll be a lot cheaper than doing two. We will drive my wife’s car down there ourselves.

Drive both cars down, that way you’re in full control of your vehicles and how they’re treated. That’s what my wife and I did when we moved down from Kansas City in 2021. We followed each other the entire route, driving about 12 hours the first day and stopping overnight to sleep at a hotel and then finishing up the drive the next day.

I thought about that. Just using an average of $55 per fill up times maybe 12 tanks of gas would only be about $650-$700. Much cheaper than the transport. The car only has 2000 miles on it and I’m not worried about putting the mileage on it I’m more worried about the 2500 mile trip with who knows what might happen on the highway as far as rocks and things. I’m sure I could somehow protect the front end for the drive.

I waxed mine really good beforehand and used one of these and it worked great.

... not sure about your comment "a lot of maintenance around the corner". Did I miss something?

I’m was just saying with 72,000 miles this car has been a gem. I’ve had no transmission problems. I’ve had no engine problems. The brakes are still in good shape even with that mileage. I haven’t had to change the struts or shocks. Never had it in the shop other than to change fluids and tires. What I was getting at was those things are all going to be coming up as the mileage gets higher and I won’t have to deal with them.
