He'd still beat me but the difference in power between Eco & the "high performance" map is roughly ~50whp and over ~100lbft of torque.Doesnt look like taking it off eco mode would have helped
Not really, I could ask some friends though.Btw -- Mike -- do you know of any good driving roads in East Texas area? I'm looking to do a road trip for some twisties soon.
AR has mountains, so you are probably better off there.I've heard there are some good ones in the Southeast AR area as well...
You mean like brake boosting while rolling? Or like 2-step at the line?I can build 10 psi of boost on the footbrake with my car, and I have never heard anything like that.
Usually pops are a result of a rich spike causing unburnt fuel to be dumped into the exhaust. When you remove cats and go with straight through design res/mufflers the end result is usually flames. Or it could just be back pressure.I'm a tuning novice, but could that popping be from the AFR becoming too lean?
I noticed in one of the members data logging the Cobb tune that the AFR had spikes up into the 44 range vs. a 14.7 target (factory AFR is around 13.6 I think). That data logging event had an average of 18 AFR due to those spikes vs. the target.
I mean just footbraking it while stationary. If you want to brake boost it on the roll, you can bury the boost gauge. You mean like brake boosting while rolling? Or like 2-step at the line?
It takes some technique to get the revs and boost up without spinning.Hmm that's interesting. I'm going to go try that now lol
