I happen to really like Mbrp's race exhaust! Does anyone happen to know if they sell a uncatted downpipe? If not, any suggestions on the downpipe I should buy or what downpipe is most compatible with mbpr's race exhaust system:ford

Ive got an MAPerformance catless downpipe and it works great. They also added an O2 bung extender so it does not throw a CEL, but as you may know already it still wont pass inspection.

I live in Florida so not really worried about passing inspections. I'm fairly new to the ecoboost modification game. So at least I know Map has one that's compatible. So other downpipes are throwing cels?

Yes, as of right now MAP is the only company that I know of that has a catless DP that wont throw CEL's. but if you aren't worried about a check engine light then you can run which ever one suits your fancy.

Sounds good, thanks KadenW23. Wondering if by any chance you know anything about the Vargas stage 2 turbo kits . I asked on his tread didn't really give me much feedback. Have you heard any positives or negatives? Or know of the best turbo kits made for the ecoboost

Can't a tuner disable the rear O2 sensor so that it won't set a code? I know that can be done in a lot of gm stuff.

how are inspections handled with a catless downpipe? at least here in NJ you need to have accurate o2 sensor readings to pass emissions if i recall correctly

That I don't know. You might have to put the stock pipe on for inspections. Of course, you'd never run a catless pipe on the street anyway because that would be illegal...

You were kidding about that last part right?

I run 3" to dual 2.5" straight pipes on the street everyday lol. but as far as those stage 2 turbo kits go. I've heard a lot of good things about them, and with it being a stage 2 kit, it has also given that company a little time to work out the kinks. I was looking into them myself just because they are direct replacements and seems to be the cheapest way to get 500hp out of these cars. but when you get that high you are really testing the odds on that stock block. I'm sure VTT has some sort of a support email that you can contact them through. it would be the best and easiest way to talk to them and get clear reliable information. Their dyno charts look very promising though.

I'll be content at the 400hp to the wheels mark I don't want to push it any farther. But at 381/410 it seems just shy of what I would like it to be. I hope I would be able to squeeze that extra little bit out on 93 octane if possible. And I like the idea of it being like a factory replacement. Sounds promising I'll wait to see the reviews when they are out on the streets
