I'm trying to learn more about the ESS G3 kit but I need some help getting some more information. I am looking to get the ESS G3 Tuner Kit for my S550 and my goal is the most horsepower that is still reliable, from what I've seen maybe around 600-650whp. I was looking to get a 120mm Pulley Diameter and the G4 Intercooler (just because). Will the standard 50mm BOV vs the Tial Q50 2PSI be a big difference? What injectors, fuel pump, and pumper boost should I get for the most optimal choice?

Currently I have the Eibach Prokit lowering springs on and looking to get the Steeda Stop the Hop Street Enthusiast Kit pretty soon. Any recommendations for anything else?

For pump gas, 120mm for gen 3 is great. 115 for gen2 coyote. Good choice for intercooler, it gives noticibly better cooling than g3. Tial vs standard bov from performance doesnt chance anything. I personally have a maxflow bov. They all have enough venting to do the job, really its more a noise change. Injectors its best to get gt500 stock injectors, they are enough for pump gas, perform as oem as they are oem, and are on the cheaper side for the options of injectors. You can also get any voltage booster brand to bump oem voltage to 16v to the fuel pump, stock fuel pump. Most tuners recommend that way for just pump gas setups. Otherwise, you will have a good setup, you can always throw on some sticky tires but i personally find any good tire will hook enough for street driving, im on stock 265 all seasons and really dont spin much.
Im not sure if you have an auto or manual, but if manual then the clutch will sortve hold 630 ish hp, kind of slip past that from what ive seen on other members. Basically you can run a stock clutch but be aware it will wear through fast and a upgraded clutch is recommended

The summit bov is pretty much a copy of the Tial, I have had both and I literally could not tell a difference between them once they were on the car, sound the same, drivability was the same.

IF you plan to stay on 93 gas, just get the GT500 Injectors and pick either the DW400 pump or the BAP, I did the DW400 pump and never had an issue while I ran that. It was plenty for the 120mm pulley. IF you ever plan to go e85 in the future, just buy the ID1050 Injectors now, instead of the GT500.

I'd look into getting a vented catch can.

And depending on your tires, better tires.

Got it. I have the 10speed and looking looking to get Toyo R888Rs. I do mostly 40-60 rolls, I should surely be able to hook right?

I think here in Cali we only get 91. Do you think it’s worth switching to e85. I have already done a lot of research on it but still unsure of the long term effects. How much power would I be around with it too with this kit?

E85 depends on if you want more power and to deal with e85.
On 91, you would be around 650-660whp
E85, around 850whp

you should hook in second gear in the auto, it may spin a tiny bit in the high rpms but its minimal on good tires

All else being equal, you won't gain 200hp from E85. Usually it's around 100hp.

I mean, dyno numbers are subjective. I know e85 with a max pully is 860whp. Max pully 93 is about 680whp. Those are just numbers from previous members

e85 allows more boost and timing so its not just e85

e85 is always worth it if you can make it happen. More power, better knock protection, etc… I run it year round, and put 93 back in when I store the car for winter.

You can get high 600s on a G3 kit with 91 and octane booster.

How about longevity?

Shouldn’t be an issue, I’ve seen guys run e85 for years.. if the cars ever down for a long period of time, I’d say put some 91-93 in there.

The timing is literally how E85 adds HP.
Increasing boost is a whole other variable.

Around 100hp is the standard gain. (70-125 swing from what I've seen, depending on tuning and the quality of E)

Longevity is the same for e85 as it is for 93, neither causes any problems. E85 is technically a little safer, but it pushes a motor harder. Of course any motor making more power will be “used” more so it will last less, meaning a stock coyote will last lets say 300k miles, one making 800whp will last only 200kmiles. Otherwise so long as you have a good build with a good tune, and get good gas, the car will be reliable for a while
