I had an ABS tone ring fail and we went to replace the front wheel hub under powertrain warranty to fix the problem. But the Ford parts catalog has the wrong wheel hub listed. Ford part number FR3Z-1104-F will not fit into the factory knuckle. Upon further review the '20 & up GT500 wheel hub is the correct part, PR3Z-1109-B.

I believe this issue is unique to the handling package cars only.

It's not unique to HP cars. The hubs are the same on both as well as other magneride cars from the same year. I found out the hard way when Levittown sold me the wrong hubs. OP Mustang's link has the full details.

I know OP Mustang has a post about it, but what is the correct part number for the hubs if FR3Z-1104-F is incorrect?

Hey guys... wanted to chime in here... so I have 22 mach 1 with handling package. I had a noise I was troubleshooting and decided to get all new bearings. Rears from American muscle with gt350 half shafts, and then had to get the fronts from ford OEM parts to a local dealership. I believe the bearings they sent me were PR3Z-1109-D. After a few weeks of the install I finally went to the backroads to get some spirited driving in and noticed a noise from my front left hub. I tried to do some T/Sing of the noise but am certain it is the bearing making noise.
The ONE factor that remains with my issue is (regardless of vehicle speed) I have to be pulling 0.45 or greater Gs turning my wheels to the right to get the front left hub to make the noise. It's a chattering sound. And the speed of vehicle (with anything over 0.45Gs) can change the frequency of the noise. So obviously I warrantied the part and get another one. Immediately had the same noise. So I decided it'd have to be breaks. I cleaned them and did multiple hard inspections of everything to see any wear scars and found NOTHING 4 seperate times. I went as far as greasing the back of things (bearing edges, Rotor edge, caliper lips) and even blead the brakes and drove in a cul de sac at 8 mph with no break pads in and the noise was still there. I've mentally eliminated a break issue.
And I have no clue how back to back new bearings can be making the same noise... I'm at a loss.

I just had a difficult to locate front end noise fixed with the help of an top notch mechanic at SPS
Performance in St Louis. It was the sway bar end links bearings that failed. To troubleshoot the problem we disconnected and removed the end links then went for a test drive and the sound was gone. These are easy to replace, you just need to remove the front wheels. Also replace the nuts as they use a nylon thread lock. Good luck!

Very much appreciated. I will give that a try and if all else fails this car is obviously still under warranty and I haven't modified the front suspension or breaks at all so Ford could always deal with this noise for free! Haha
