Owner card for ordering parts?

Hi,

So i was trying to order wheel locks from the part store at a Ford Dealership for my 2015 mustang, and the guy said he couldnt help me because I didnt have an owner card thats suppose to be in the owner manual. I looked through my owner manual package along with the other documents and pamplet in there but couldnt find anything. He said it looks like a credit card.

He couldn't even help me, I dont know why he couldn't just look up the car model for the parts number on the computer (was he just being lazy or is this a policy for Ford Dealership)? Anyway he, he sent me over to the tire department and they were able to help me.

Anybody knows what owner card he is talking about?

I received an owner card several years ago when I purchased my 2009 Ford Mustang but I believe that those cards are a thing of the past (my wife has a new F150 and she never received an owner's card either) I suggest you submit a query to Ford Customer Service and query them. Inquiring minds want to know! :first:

hahaha. looks like the ford dealership i went to needs some new management.

When I bought my 07 Fusion, the card wasnt in the owners manual, it came in a letter from Ford 2 weeks later. it just has the owners name, yr/make/model and vin and a ford logo in the corner.

Are trying to order a replacement keyed socket for your locking nuts? Last 2 Mustangs I got the dealer installed them during the PDI and the key and regular nuts were left in the spare tire well.

Lug socket size

My locking lugs weren't installed by my dealer and I want to buy a socket to install them. What size socket, close to 13/16 must be metric.
