Tunes are available for many strategy codes. More and more are being released all of the time, so some might not be supported, but most are. We address them as proactively as we can, but sometimes we see a new strategy code we have not encountered in the wild and this takes a little bit of time to nail down, but a good idea of them are done and shipping since day one of the release. A few have been new strategy codes causing a delay, but those are the exception to the ruleWhen will the process be done? And the tunes for the mustang available? Is there a better ETA?
Can you back up and explain more about these strategy codes?Tunes are available for many strategy codes. It's not always that there is a change, but things like specific options can change the tune as well. A basic overview would be performance pack vs. non performance pack. Manual vs. auto. Wheel and tire options can also change strategy codes, and then you of course have revisions to those. Some might be revision 0, while some might be on revision 3 already. I am sure we could compile a list of how many we have seen so far, but it's more numerous than one would think. Can you back up and explain more about these strategy codes?
From what I'm gathering so far, it sounds like Ford is continuously updating the engine management control scheme, and each update gets a new strategy code. Therefore, when you encounter a new strategy code, you need to understand what changes Ford has made and how that relates to your tune and whether changes to your tune need to be made for that particular strategy code.
That seems to make sense, but I have a hard time believing Ford would be making such rapid changes to the engine management algorithms. Those seem like things that would require quite a bit of testing. I am therefore not certain if I am understanding this correctly. Maybe the changes from code to code are pretty minor?
Also, if you were to take your car in for service, does Ford load the latest strategy code onto your car? Seems like they'd want to minimize the variations from car-to-car.

I understand, but I still struggle to understand how this process can take longer than a week. It's not always that there is a change, but things like specific options can change the tune as well. If you think this is a decent amount already, you should see how many variants there are on an EcoBoost truck.
It doesn't, the issue that we are running into is the holiday season. We have been closed more days than we have been open. We were able to get a few more strategies built today so the list is quickly shrinking. Just please be patient with us as we are constantly chasing updated strategies on top of building new ones.I understand, but I still struggle to understand how this process can take longer than a week.
Did I quote you? There's more than those two tables, since you want to get involved. What you think and what is, is two different things.I tune my turbo Fairmont myself. It is an 8 second car. I can handle a VE table and a timing table just fine, thanks. I don't think anyone on here is looking to "steal" their tune.

Wait, you mean you won't work Christmas day and New Years day so I can have my parts I ordered? It doesn't, the issue that we are running into is the holiday season. Joe, I shot you an email last week. Did you not get it?We are all patiently waiting for your tuner and look forward to the quality tunes you deliver consistently.

I'm not the one who came in swinging his internet dick posting a fuel table, bragging about how complex it is and challenging people to interpret it.Did I quote you? There's more than those two tables, since you want to get involved. What you think and what is, is two different things.
My car is bottom 8's on a 275 Goodyear radial. There's more to going down a track at wot the whole time, vs a daily driver, part throttle, tip in, the whole thing needs to be cleaner than your turbo fairmont is at wot because it's a tune for cars all over the country in all weather at all throttle positions. Not just wot, in one car, at one track with a guy that knows how to adjust a "v/e table"
But all that is common sense. Or so I thought.
