Yes, on a closed course. Why would I do such a dangerous thing on the public roads ;)

Had a nice long on ramp onto the interstate, decided to open it up a bit to see the throttle response on the new CAI i installed, it got to 95 very quickly..shut it down before I merged on
What CAI did you get?

^^^I like this description.

Several years ago, I was riding my motorcycle with a small group up Wind River Highway from Carson. At one of our rest stops, another rider walks up to me and says "you could get around those corners quicker if you move up on the tank."

I replied "you know, the only way to determine how fast I can get around a corner is to first figure out how fast I *can't* get around the corner - and that is information that I don't need to know.
Wind River Canyon is one of my favorite rides...especially when all that sage is blooming. Hope to take the Pony there sometime. Will take Chief Joseph and the Beartooth Hwy to get there. Yum...

I will probably wait till spring and come over the other way - up 503 from Battle Ground to Lewis River Rd, follow NF90 over to Curley Creek, then down Wind River Hwy to Hwy 14. Should be a nice 3 or 4 hour cruise

Have never taken that drive, I will try it next year!

There are so many winding mountain roads here in Colorado to drive and test the new chassis on but unfortunately that will now have to wait until late spring after they get all the winter gravel off the roads... good to help in snowy conditions but really dangerous for anything above 40 or so in the dry.

So.... How fast has everyone gone in their new Mustang's? Please don't give sufficient detail to incriminate yourself.

120MPH... probably would have went faster (Definitely could have), but there is too much traffic this time of year, particularly if the weather is good. I have to say that the "Track mode" seems to have better response at higher speeds.
I think about 120 for me as well on an interstate. Just for a second, just to see what she would do.

I'm planning to take mine to the track (when I take delivery) and drive as fast as I can! Not planning to do any crazy speeds on the road because 30 mph over the posted limit is criminal in FL and I cannot afford that. I would rather be in a controlled environment and not worry about police. Anyone take theirs out on a track?

I hit 120 yesterday on route 1 when I was all alone on a straight away. My bro thought we were going way slower than we were. This car is always planted and steady

Hpde/road course? Yes

Also search for performance driving group, trackguys, thehpde.

I recommend you do homestead events first.
