Had a shop install an MGW shifter for me, everything drives good and fine but when I check the fordpass app the miles is way off. I usually get 160 on a full tank

If they disconnected your battery for any reason it may have reset the MPG data and subsequently the miles to empty data.

Distance to E calculations are a little funky sometimes. After a track weekend my car takes more than a tank to recalculate.

I have a 2019 GT auto and the level your gage shows would be right on mine, I get about 300+ miles to a tank.

I just got back from a 500 mile trip in my Bullitt. I filled up twice and DTE was showing 227 and 279 respectively. Here’s where things got really interesting. After driving on the first fill up, DTE got down to 66 miles. A few minutes later, DTE dropped to 25 and then 0 (with the yellow warning box popping up on the dash). The gas gauge also dropped to E and was showing red. I filled up and the car only took a little over 9 gallons.

The same thing happened on the second fill up, when DTE reached 86 miles. Within 20 seconds, DTE dropped to 2 miles and then 0. I immediately got off of the interstate and found a gas station 1/2 mile off of the exit ramp, but before I could make it that far, the engine stumbled and DTE reset itself and was showing 78 miles to empty. I filled up again and the car took 10.3 gallons of fuel.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what did you do to resolve the issue?
