Buddy told me Saturday that my 3rd brake light was not lighting up. Yesterday I removed the interior trunk lid cover to find that
the wire connector supplying power to the 3rd brake light was hanging loose (yellow circle). Not sure how it became unplugged. The connector (male/female portions) weren't missing any tabs.
When I installed the strap handle on the trunk lid lock, I never removed the interior trunk lid cover. So I dunno.
This is where it belongs.
I plugged it back in and used a velcro strap to help take some of the stress off the wire.
I'm tagging another thread for 2015's where a similar issue to be happening, except the issue may have been in the wiring loom. But the thread was never followed up on and completed.

@MagneticMan ^Did you ever find a fix to your issue?
