Thank you guys. From a pure artistic perspective, some of the pics posted in this thread look way better. It looks like my set is going to be incomplete if the rumors are true that Ford is offering the GTD to GT owners first and they are all taken.

I guess all of these other amazing 5.2’s will have to heal my pain. HAHAHA

GT350 Corvette Sandwich. Met at a cars n coffee, had a little spirited drive, and stopped off at a dealership which is where the photo was taken. I'm on the left, one on the right sounds glorious with long tube headers and an H pipe...just sayin'

One for you to laugh at - the things you have to do to get it through it’s first inspection (which will now be yearly) :

Stuck the front plate on, offset, just to be awkward, with sticky pads, that are removable with pull tabs …

Fingers crossed it works - I’m currently in the waiting room …

MUSTANG PHOTOGRAPH OF THE MONTH RESULTS​

@Concretevol's image in August's competition is a worthy winner on several counts; a great Mustang at an iconic venue and I also like Chris' sentiment - "Hunting down Camaros"!

And speaking of iconic locations, Geoffrey's Mach 1 below looks right at home in the greenery of the Tail of the Dragon. The dappled light provides plenty of pleasing reflections. @spankybranch's contribution is runner-up.

It is all action photography on the podium this month with Mark's (@DRAGOON) photograph in third position. The image must have been hard to capture with the slow 'shutter speed' but the resulting blurred background gives a true sense of the speed.
