Just bought a '22 Mach 1. Need flaps for obvious reasons and a front license plate holder because I will not drill holes. Also, what is the best aftermarket sources for Mustangs ?

I bought one that has the ability to fold underneath the car on americanmuscle. The quality is meh, honestly haven't gotten the chance to install, but the reviews w/ pictures on the site look decent.

I got a sto n sho front plate holder from LMR for Mach1 w HP. Wasn't gonna mess w the front bumper either. It keeps front plate down and out of the way of the low air-in front vent, plus its removable. Better than the fold under plate holders because if you have a handling package car the extra front splitter, that sits way low anyhow. Rockblox for the mudflaps. Sorry I don't have a link, but LMR is obvious, google the Rockblox , easy to find. Hope that info may help get you going. You will find a few options on the search, then pick your choice to your personal likes. Have fun w it all !

+1 for Rokblokz. They sell them direct or you can get them on Amazon

Raceseng makes a front plate bracket that threads through the tow hook slot in the bumper. And Rokblokz are the way to go

Front plates suck….i would not even waste your money. Nothing kills the looks of a cool car more than a front plate. If a cop really wants to ticket you, let em.

originally I tired the Sto-n-sho. But after 2 seasons it was just to loose for my comfort level. Switched to Slybrackets.com much better option, no holes no marks very sturdy

I bought and installed the one you have from American Muscle last week. Yesterday crawling out of a driveway onto a busy street, it broke off leaving the personalized plate in the street. The car is not lowered but the bracket sets too low on the bottom of the splitter. Just ordered a Craigs Bracket. In California no front plate is "probable cause" to stop you and issue you a fix it ticket.

Sounds like I need to return it if I can. I looked at it once. Seemed like a good option, but I’ll take your word as I am a little lowered.

Sto-n-sho and Rokblokz. Pros of Sto-n-Show bracket is you license plate will be the lowest point on your lip. You will definitely hear when you start to scrape.

I went with the Slybrackets.com , way better than any of the other options in my opinion.
I had the a Craig's and it would get caught putting my cover on and off and actually cracked and bent, and I always worried if it would fall off, only being held on with tape.

I looked at the Sto-n-Sho and didn't like the way it mounted on the splitter and with the HP it was way too low.

The tow hook mounted ones don't work for me as I like symmetry and the plate to one side looks weird to me.

Pic of base, it is very secure, but I forgot to take a pic of the other part that bolts to this frame and holds the plate. The grill would have to break for this thing to fall off, so anything short of a front end collision or hurricane and it will stay put. The only down side, it is not easily removable. You must take the plate off the holder part, then remove the bracket, but I'm OK with the plated look, where it is.

Results, technically a little too low for CA, but it's there and I'm sure I'll be left alone by LEO's...for having a front plate, at least.

It sits close to the grill and bumper, but has enough room from the sides to still flow air to the radiator. We've had a couple hot days since and I haven't noticed any change in engine temps.

I went with the taped unit. Even though front plates are required in Illinois, I've been going without one. So far. But I carry it in the trunk with nut driver just in case I get pulled over. :D I'm not worried about the tape, I tested it and its pretty strong. I finally got my cover from California Car Cover couple days ago. I'll have to keep it mind to be careful taking it off when I have plate on.
