Really keen to see how this works. Rust protection crap everywhere under mine including bits of overspray on the wheels.
I really hope Ford have a better solution in place for the S650. Do other car companies spray their cars with black paint when exporting them overseas? Typical Ford...................

I was honestly in shock. When I got home I thought it was burning oil until I got under and had a look.

I had a similar issue with mine tbh , I expect a bit of smell and maybe a tiny bit of smoke coming of coatings initially but was definitely excessive , Has moderated almost totally since i put it through a big heat cycle though

Loving this colour and the gloss I can get out of it. The car is actually filthy with dust in these images taken yesterday afternoon and this morning. I gave it a wash on Sunday morning.

Trying to figure out what short trigger guns will fit my pressure hose is a challenge. Some sites tell me that Karcher/Nilfisk/Bigboi are the same. I've also been told Bigboi use a proprietary fitting so have to buy a specific package. Does anyone have a Bigboi Washr Flo and use a short trigger gun? Does this fitting have a name?

Can you please post a picture of the hose outlet connection.

Cool, thanks.

Looking at Detailing Shed's listing for the MTM SGS 28, it suggests using the Gerni/Stihl/Nilfisk/BigBoi fitting -
Buy Now - MTM SGS28 Gun for Professional Car Detailing (detailingshed.com.au)

That is a similar "click" type fitting used by Karcher, so I could see the confusion.

Another option, you could get the Big Boi gun, wand and hose package for similar money -
BigBoi Flo Car Wash Hose Pack | Detailing Shed

I would favor the MTM SGS 28 as I can vouch for the quality of the item. Avoid the SG 35 as it doesn't have a swiveling inlet, and the Aqualine gun is goofy. The Mosmatic guns are worth looking at too, they have higher quality connections.

Obsessed Garage OG Spec Mosmatic Swiveling Sprayer (detailingshed.com.au)
Mosmatic Premium Gun with Stainless Live Swivel (detailingshed.com.au)

Out of them all, I would favor the OG Spec Mosmatic or the MTM SGS 28. You will also need nozzles to go with these guns -
MTM QC HYDROJET SS Single 40 Degree (detailingshed.com.au)
Buy Now - MTM QC Hydrojet SS Nozzle for Spray Foam Gun (detailingshed.com.au)
or
Mosmatic Nozzle including guard 25° DEG for Rims fully assembled (detailingshed.com.au)
Mosmatic Nozzle including guard 40° fully assembled (detailingshed.com.au)

If you are still unsure, send Nick at Detailing Shed an email, he knows his stuff! Tell him Deyon sent you. :like:

Cheers. That still muddies the water a little as now Karcher is different and Stihl and Gerni are added to the list of being the same. Haha.

If I hadn't already secured a 15m pressure house I would have looked at getting the Bigboi hose pack.

Thanks again for the detailed options available.

Trent, I have the Big Boi washer and MTM Magnum 28 gun which just needs an adaptor to fit the Big Boi hose. When I bought my gun, Nick at The Detailing Shed supplied the correct adaptor. So in essence buy your gun from Nick and ask for the correct adaptor to be included. Don't bother contacting Big Boi for adaptor help as they just refer you to a chart which may not help.
From memory the Big Boi does a Karcher style connection at the machine end (which can be removed to leave just a threaded brass pipe) and a proprietary connection on the hose at the gun end. I never used my 15m BigBoi hose and initially retained my Karcher hose as it fit the machine and enabled me to use all my Karcher fittings around the house and yard. I have since upgraded to the MTM Kobrajet hose and all quick connect couplings.
