well, from one "yooper" to another (Menominee) sorry to see that happen. I am always wondering what lurks on country roads. I think James Taylor needs to rewrite his song... LOL...

Bold - I'd not drive my 350 on a gravel road without being forced to well against my will. Good luck w/ the repairs being <20K. 🤞

My momma told me, can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. However, you had no business driving down that kind of road.

Let's not put salt on his wound.. he wasn't Dukes of Hazzarding it... going slow and trying to get back on the main road. Plenty of that here in Wisconsin. I'm near Elkhart Lake and there are some paths that lead to bad roads, gravel roads due to construction, cow manure, etc... Not to mention the "spring pot holes" that show up now...
Even Lightning McQeen had it happen to him...

Aw naw.... you got it all wrong....

...

😄
Seems like, GM and Dodge both can't do it in real life...

PS:
Yeah, that's big crap what happened to @15GTPPinCO .
Hopefully he will be able to laugh about it later.
It's understandable if he doesn't feel like it now.
I hope that it can be handled properly and that his pony does not have to go to the knacker.

I had it towed to my house. I finally got out to loolking at it this morning, and I don't think that it's totaled. Engine compartment is pristine, hood is still good. Needs front bumper/cover/fogs/radiator, rear bumper cover, and I'm sure some other things, but the KBB is like $24k, and I can't see the repairs getting that high.
You'd be surprised how much those repairs will cost and how often they're totaling cars out now.

Pop the hood and look at the top of the rad support as well as the L & R upper frame to firewall inner fender structure. Does either side have any bends/tweaks?

Look at the base of the strut towers and follow the frame rail from the base back to the rad support - is either side bent upwards or show any kinks in the metal?

Look at bottom of rad support is it pushed upwards?

True, but when I'm on a road I haven't driven, my eyes are like a hawk. And coming up an incline I'd have slowed, or braked hard once I saw the hole, and the car would be nosed into that pipe.
not fer nothing I don't see skid marks in the dirt from 4 wheel locking up when that oh, shyt moment hit. Do you?

Does your Mustang identify as a Jeep? That would explain a lot...
