Why is there so much hate from the 2011+ community?

I know it's probably a small sample, and everyone is an Internet keyboard commando, but I just left the anyting 2011+ Coyote group on Facebook because I was tired of hearing how the 2015s are garbage and they are the bastard offspring of a Fusion and Accord. Hell, some of them went as far as saying they'd rather have a Charger over a new Mustang. I mean, c'mon man... :frusty:

This is the answer right here. Alot of people were expecting more power AND less weight, they only got the more power so they are bitter. Yes, less weight would have been nicer, but over all inside and out the 15 is a much much better car.

Yeah I agree with everyone's comments so far. I remember the amount of hate getting thrown around when I got my 2005 Stang. Fast forward a handful of years and now those same people are s197 lovers and haters of all things s550.

It's a mild improvement. Sure everything is great now with the IRS, but we don't know the longevity/reliability of it. Sure I suspect it'll be fine, but it's still an unknown; hence so far a mild improvement.

Depends on your point of view. Most reviewers are calling it a major improvement for daily driving, interior, feel, etc.

IRS is proven to be better and most cars use .. its much better than solid axle.. yes i agree drag enthu will hate it but this car had to be brought upto the new markets...

2. Interior rocks.. much better than older mustangs . It has a premium feel to it.

3. Look wise it has evolved, i admit its nota s masculine as 14 but is has more aggressive stance.

Yeah, as an owner of an '11 at least, its WAAAAAAY better, and I loved my '11. This car is much much more nimble handling-wise. I toss it into turns that would cause the '11 to go sideways, and the '15 laughs.

Many will hate it until they have paid theirs off, or have money saved for a new one, or are waiting for the 350. I've seen this behavior for at least 3 gens.

I have a 2013 love it, I plan on adding a GT350 or a z06 soon to the stable. For me the 2015 GT is not a significant enough of an upgrade. Plenty of hate from camaro owners when I race them though.....lol

thats wat.... i have had mustangs '11 and '13 and before than '09

and i had camaro '11 .

and '15 is def i love most , even though i love my '13 GT ... after all mods i put in der

I dont get it myself. I used to frequent TMS but this site is much friendlier toward 15 owners, especially EcoBoost. I went from an 05 V6 to a 13 GT and I cant wait to get into a 15 so I don't understand the hate.

Hell, I might even get an EcoBoost just due to cost
