Anybody run or ever ran a 65mm pulley on their 15-17 roushcharged gt ?
That pulley (2.6”) won’t fit unless the snout diameter is machined down about .050”

Is that regarding the older roush kits or newer ? I’ve heard the newer (15-17) kits you don’t have to do any machining.

Is that regarding the older roush kits or newer ? I’ve heard the newer (15-17) kits you don’t have to do any machining.
The older ones had less clearance than the newer ones.

So you’d still have to do some machining ?

Absolutely. I have an almost new 2.80” (72mm) Griptec that would fit for you if you’re interested.

Absolutely. I have an almost new 2.80” (72mm) Griptec that would fit for you if you’re interested.
this is what made me think it would fit on newer models

I appreciate it , I’m already on a 69mm . Was trying to squeeze out a bit more boost.
FYI, your VMP pulley is actually a 72mm…. They measured them wrong way. They were stating the pulley size based on the diameter at the bottom of the groove valley, not the top…..

FYI, your VMP pulley is actually a 72mm…. They measured them wrong way. They were stating the pulley size based on the diameter at the bottom of the groove valley, not the top…..
Well I’m not using a vmp pulley. I’m using a 69mm grip tech pulley.

Do you have a picture? Because VMP used to send their pullies to Griptec. The longer cone pullies were still wrong.
