What is this on top of 5.0 engine? Car spent time in Germany.

That’s a bingo, it appears. Any performance improvement with this? No claims on website.
On an otherwise stock or even a slightly modded Coyote you might get minimal gains if anything at all. With forced induction you might get some gains. If your car is the 16 GT in your sig then you'd be better off with a GT350 IM or even one of the 3rd Gen Coyote (18+) IMs. That cai isn't doing you any favors either. Monitor your IATs because I'm guessing with that cai and the sheet metal IM under that hood and with the heat that these Mustangs generate, I'm gonna go on a hunch and say you're actually losing performance.

No idea, I just googled "velocity intake mustang" 😁 . Intake by itself doesn't mean much. Who knows what else is modded there and what tune it runs. I would stay away from this , to be honest.

I don't think he really needs to stay away from it if he is considering it for a purchase. The IM and cai can be replaced easily and the tune can be changed easily as well. I doubt there are any issues with it, it just looks like someone threw these mods on thinking it would increase performance or possibly for a show car. It doesn't mean that anything is wrong with the car. If he does buy it then he could just swap back to the stock IM and get a closed style cai and he'll be good to go. Easy peasy.

The thing is that for N/A applications I don’t think that there’s a better option then the stock 18+ manifold for 15-17 cars honestly. It looks great it really does but it’s probably just eye candy.

I'm not saying that something is wrong with the car. If he has to ask on the forum about what that is, it probably means that there is no disclosure about all the car mods. I don't like black boxes, that's just it. Who knows what other surprises are there.

And I said that I would stay away from it, it's my opinion and what I would do.

The car is a ‘18, at a distant dealer. What are the gauges either side of the manifold? This gauge is on A pillar.

The gauges on the engine are fuel pressure. The A pillar is an N gauge. It is a flashing device for adding tunes to the engine.

So this car is likely running some sort of tune. Since there is no blower or turbo on car, does that mean less likely the car has been hurt in any way via the tune(s)?
