There will be.

Or.....at least they will try. Doc fee, etc. That stuff is standard in this area.

Ford must have raised the base price quite a bit since the Mach 1 came out? $52,400 for a Premium Mach 1 in 2021 I believe and now a 2023 non-Premium comes in at $55,570?

As Ive mentioned before Ourisman in Manassas VA has 3 Mach 1’s and two of them (2023 models) are listed at $3500 OFF sticker, was $4k off a few days ago…. 2022 Model is only $1500 off….They do have a high processing fee but no other bs fees or required items like Vin Etching, Pin Stripes, GPS trackers, or $600 Tinted Windows.

Those seem optioned horribly. I would rather save 7k and have the base 55k price. Still a decent deal if someone wants those colors and spec.

Best Ford dealership in the region for pricing.

I bought mine from there when they were Battlefield Ford.

$800 processing fee at the time. $35,000 total (taxes and fees included) in late 2020. Edit: $40,070 sticker price.

Waldorf is an OK dealership. The doc fee in MD is capped at $499 and also "optional". I'd need to go read the statute but apparently all MD dealers are required to post notices on the door that the doc fee is optional. I haven't tried buying a car in MD and forcing the issue...

play hard-ball. That one was a MSRP or greater acquisition during the insanity so they're into it for a lot more money than the 23's. Doesn't mean you can't remind them that it's a leftover and that you'll take it home today for >12% off. They're obviously not in the business to lose money, but a bad deal here and there is part of the game and they know it.

Best deal I ever got on a vehicle was from Criswell Chevy in Thurmont MD on a 2015 Silverado. $54K sticker and got it for $41K in Nov 2015. Well worth the 3-1/2 hr drive.

Every day. Inflation is a b****. Was just surprised that a base 2021 Premium Mach 1 went from $52,400 to $ 58,665 in 2 years. That is about 12%. Still moderate compared to eggs
That's it. And I'd guess the inflation rate has been higher than that.

For sure. Never did the math but consumables (esp. food, gas, energy) an easy 30% on average if not more I'd guess. Don't want to steer the conversation in that direction. It is what it is. 🤡 world.
