Yep, as expected! Scheduling for October in a couple of weeks. Should be some additions to September also.
Unfortunately there is no scheduling next week. Hopefully they will start scheduling October towards the end of the month.

So, update... Ordered 3/10, built 7/24. Still "awaiting shipment."

I've been stalking my dealer's website because they show a rapid red GT coup "in transit." I also wanted to see if mine showed up there when it was shipped. Pulled up the window sticker on their car today and saw that its blend date was eight weeks before mine was even built. So it's been "in transit" at least ten weeks now. According to the window stickers, it's on the same ramp as mine, whatever that means.

I'm losing hope I will even see my car before the snow flies here. The frustration continues....

Good luck to everyone still playing the waiting game, hope your luck is better than mine has been.

I ordered a GT Premium California Special in Mischievous Purple on May 13th and still awaiting to be scheduled. Still hoping it gets picked sometime this month. Seeing as they aren't scheduling for next week it'll have to bee the end of this month.

Im very interested to see what happens come fall/winter.

My car was built in June. Still has not left the train yard to be delivered. Judging by the comments around here a lot of people are in the same boat.

I keep reading that rail workers are likely going on strike soon. So the already 2-3 month back log is only going to get bigger. What happens when cars are 5-6 months late? The 2023 cars are buying built. Who wants a year old car? Plus it's the dead of winter in half the country? How many people back out of the order because they are tired of waiting and move on?

There will be a glut of year old mustangs. I wonder how far prices will fall. I wonder how big the incentives will be.

I asked my dealer exactly this question. The answer was "What do you want? You ordered a model 22 and get a model 22 delivered. Otherwise you should have ordered a 23 model".

Easy for him to say since they aren’t taking MY23 orders yet. I’m more concerned that it’s going to be 2 years old before wheels on ground! We will probably know come 9/15/22.

Exactly. the 2022 cars will be "leftovers". In the "before times" leftover cars usually had incentives attached.

Hi All. New to the forum and wanted to add my timeline as it is probably similar to a few others. Ordered a 2022 Mustang GT Fastback with 301A, A10, Black Accent Package, Active Valve Exhaust in Mischievous Purple on 6/24. Got confirmation minutes after ordering while still at the dealer. Nothing else since and I can see by everyone else's posts that some folks have been waiting for a long time! Fingers crossed for a build date soon for those of us that don't have them yet. Nice to have a group of people anxiously waiting for the same thing I am! This will be my 5th Mustang. Had an 81 with a small V8, an 89 GT, a 2006 GT and a 2014 V6 Premium. Looking forward to my 2022! I've been driving a 2017 1SS Camaro for the past 4 year and really miss driving a Mustang!

Question: I called the dealer yesterday to check if there was anything that might hold my car up. They said that potentially the black roof on the Black Accent Package? Has anyone else been told that? Seems like a weird thing to me.....Isn't it just a painted roof? Thanks for any thoughts or comments on that.

They might wait for a short period until a few orders with option black roof are in before doing them in batches.

When I was waiting for my '22, I saw a '21 for sale that had all the features I wanted, then I saw it was still marked up 3k over MSRP... this was TWO MONTHS ago! Halfway into 2022..

Recieved the Mustang GT today. Haven't had the time to really go over the car bit I like almost everything so far. Not too crazy about the clutch feel so I'll be replacing the clutch spring with a Steeda clutch spring. Besides that, I'm happy with how the car looks and drives.
