The 2000 cobra r is my one of my dream cars! Hopefully I’ll have one some day! However they are pretty rare!

Good on 'em! Everyone has to have dreams and aspirations. If that is what tickles their fancy then rock on with their bad self. He, or she, is probably a hard-working younger man or woman who spends what they can on the ride and that is to be applauded.

While our tastes differ (personally I find that style wing rather bland; a real one costing $16k is irrelevant) I salute them and their right to make it their own.

OP probably paid more in ADM on his car than the car he's making fun of is worth, but he doesn't see the irony in trashing someone for doing their own thing with what they got.

Have to laugh at running to the GT500 forum to trash a random Mustang on the street. Thinking he's trying to mimic a GT500 from a spoiler and diffuser that don't even look like GT500 parts? Trying too hard.

I have to assume its a younger kid that is thrilled to be driving a mustang. Personally I think its embarrassing to put that kind of show on a 4 cylinder mustang. I won`t even put it on a stock v8 mustang either.

Why not? That what the Mustang culture is all about. One of the reasons we have been here for almost six decades. Make it your own. Add what you want. takeaway what you don't. I think what this owner did was tasteful. How many folks on here have a GT350 or PP spoiler? Or any other cosmetic mod for that matter.

And by the way, as a former owner, I can say EB's are cool. They are fast, comfortable, handle great, and best of all it a Mustang. We are all family.

In all seriousness, I hope its not one of those ABS plastic wings that you see on eBay. They are a hazard. They don't have the structural integrity to handle any kind of high speeds. That wing, at 180, will produce 550# of downforce. Lets just say you are hauling ass on the interstate, an ABS wing can fail, fly off the car, and go through the windshield behind you.

I could draw a chart, but lift and drag go up exponentially as speed increases. Even if you did 140, that wing, if ABS, would go bye bye.
