Nope. Being proud of one’s own car doesn’t necessarily equate to someone hating another persons car.
The hipocrisy is interesting. Someone likes their Hep and it’s pride but someone prefers something else and they are somehow insulting. You must be reading posts with rose colored glasses, especially on BaT and FB.
I'm with Sdsaathoff here, the HEP owners are obviously happy at the appreciation of their vehicles, but I don't think I've seen anyone actively attack the non HEP owners or suggest that they made a mistake by not buying a HEP. On the reverse though, a few non HEP owners seem to see it as their duty to call it a "stickers package" and express constant disbelief at what's going on with the values.

Simple truth is that all versions of these GT350s are totally kick ass. I happen to really like the color combo on the HEP, but I'd gladly drive a Twister Orange, Ford Performance Blue, Iconic Silver or Race Red one any day of the freaking week. I'm no better off for owning a HEP than any other owner.

I really don't see why so many posters here seem to think there is a "rivalry" between the HEP crowd and the non HEP crowd. We should all be happy to have had the opportunity to enjoy these cars. For the resale side, really who cares, we hopefully bought them to drive. If some guys want to spend $170k to store a HEP-R in a garage for the next 20 years, again, who cares. It doesn't devalue your experience with your car any because someone is ready and willing to pay a premium for a HEP, no matter the reason.
In the end, it does seem like there are a few overly sensitive owners. Certainly not all, as I’ve had dealings with some with plenty of class and tact. Everyone has an opinion… I’m bluntly honest - the combo is a dead tie for last place for me (I’ll not mention the other color as to limit the spread of hurt feelieitus). I don’t like stripes or name badging, especialy vinyl - the combo just doesn’t work for me. I say this knowing that a LOT of people HATE silver cars but I realize they are simply dumb…just kidding! ;). I love my car but I’d still leave the gt350 badges off the fenders if they didn’t have holes in them…

A buddy of mine knows some people. Word is, this is an Exec at Ford’s stash.

Notice the second car on the top row…

Liquid looks like the window is down. What’s behind it? Also note the naked GT

@Sdsaathoff and @astronaut45 don’t waste your time and effort feeding the zoo animals. No matter how realistic you are in your right to purchase whatever you like, @stanglife and a few others will come along and pi$$ on your guardsman blue vinyl stripes.

What’s the old saying, opinions are like …….., some have more then one. The part that get’s me the most about all of this is, other owners of the same cars, pissing all over owners of the same car. Talk about class act’s.

The last part is sarcasm if it escapes the brain trust.

How does one get a car up to the third deck of that storage warehouse. I'm just flabbergasted, I guess the intention is to never drive them once they're up there. That looks like a crime against humanity to hoard like that. At the very least let me have the gulf heritage GT :)

NM - realized it was Dumreaper. I don't care what kind of car that guy drives - he brings the average IQ down for us all.

Anyway - Had quite a few fox body cars over the years. Cool to see the Saleen doing well but man, talk about not much at all done to a car to actually improve the performance. They wanted close to 911 money back then and while the good ole 5.0 was always fun and had potential, the suspension was NEVER going to be up to the task, for a street car, anyway.
