Yea the 2019 doesn't look like it was taken care of properly. Wear on the driver-side bolster, stained rear seat (Behind driver) and the air filter is filthy (I know not a big deal but it plays into how the car was treated). It's actually the cheapest 19 for the miles available at $61k.

The 2018 is mint in and out, nothing I can point out to be honest. I just wanted to know despite the condition of the 19 if the Gen 2 engine is really that great of an upgrade. I don't plan on tracking the car often (maybe 1-2 per year).
You will see 90% of 350s with wear on that bolster. especially with bigger drivers. you really have to make a point to avoid it when getting in. most folks want to go arse first and slid right over the top of the bolster.

Simple solution… slide the seat back at egress. Makes egress easier and you don’t kill the bolster on ingress.

In that case, if you can confirm the ā€˜18 has the engine upgrade I’d just get the ā€˜18 and call up MGW for a shifter.
Could you elaborate on what the "engine upgrade" is?

I understand that wear in that area is inevitable, especially if it's a DD but I'm paying top dollar in this market and don't want to pay for a worn bolster with 14k miles.

A 2018 won't have the "Gen 2" motor with the GT500 block etc. However, a late build 2018 should have the revised piston rings. There is no way that I know of to confirm that but in all likelihood all 2018s built after a certain date received an engine with that specific revision.

no one said it was hard, but look at the majority posted for sale and you can see folks dont do that.

Thank you all for chipping in, I really appreciate it! Been contemplating trading my PP2 for a Gt350 for a LONG time. I was going to do it earlier but taking delivery of my GT500 delayed that but I think I'm ready now.

Decisions… the first world level decisions are tough.

"Save the Bolster, lose slide a Seat"

I must be an idiot... I don't get it?
I tried.. I really did.
I love humor, but I hate missing a good joke.
The "lose" part escapes me... sorry Drum.

My guess is sliding the seat back and forth every time will ware out the slider? That's how I understood it lol
