Like she arrived with too much 70's bush :)
There's no such thing as too much 70s bush.

Here's my engine cover:

Nobody looks under the hood any more, unless they have a reason to be there. You aren't going to impress anyone with a pretty plastic engine cover and a K&N air filter.
As a photographer, the hoods up at car shows always bugged me anyways. Ruins the beauty of the car, and usually there was nothing special under the hood.

did you cut the wings off the cover or is this available anywhere to buy?? this imo looks better than the Enterprise that we all have
I did trim down the original. It was pretty easy using a Dremel. Less than 5 minutes of work.

Take off the cover, turn it upside down and the parts seperate after cutting the plastic rivets:

Not looking to win any car shows, but it's typical at car meets to pop the hood, even on a stocker.

I like it. Where to get the fuel rail covers and what are the steps to cut down the cover to keep the center portion?

Part number for the fuel rail cover kit is M-9680-M50BA. Available from your vendor of choice.

I don't recall a step by step but its very self explanatory once you start looking at the underside of the engine cover. Dremel and a plastic cut off wheel is what I used.

Next question: I see this kit contains both covers and hoses? Why are hoses being replaced?

I'm not even sure. I did not use them.
Sucks because I'm sure that's the majority of the price on that "kit." I just want the plastic pieces, then. Hrmph.
