I'm googling, and yes, using the search feature, and I'm not finding anything. We're into the 5th year of Gen3 production and NOBODY has come up with an engine cover solution that looks better than the bat-wing monstrosity that the factory has on the engine? I mean, I don't want to look at ugly hoses, wires, and exposed coil packs, but I also would like something that doesn't look like a big piece of tupperware covering the entire engine.

What are people doing about this??

I’d love to take mine off if there was an engine bay cleanup option… wires everywhere… I’m considering relocating the battery to the trunk to help clean it up a bit

Yeah just thinking there has to be a way to cover the ugly with something that looks better than this. It took a decade for them to figure it out with LS engines, and even then, lots of re-wiring to relocate stuff. This one is even uglier, heh.

However, on the LS1, you could use the Corvette covers to make it look a lot better. We need something along those lines.

Still pretty rats-nest-ish, with a tiny bit of decoration on top. Maybe I just have to get the stock cover painted or something.

I think thats the real answer here. Would love to see some of our computer graphics gurus mock something up!

Yep :) .. but I still like it better than looking at the starship enterprise.

I agree. the one from the 15-17 actually was nice. This one looks like someone dropped a food tray on your engine.

When you have a Mach 1 the engine cover isn't an issue. :like:

True, but they should have made it at least as nice as the 15-17. That tray looks ridiculous. Is it not possible to use the 15-17 version?

Sounds like current options are limited. I might have to look into what it'll cost for a good quality paint job on the factory cover that can take the heat. Since the car is Grabber Blue, I think Ford Blue under the hood would be wrong.... maybe color match or red?
