Is The Mach 1 manual trans plug & play in the Bullitt?

Just curious, and this isn't something I am considering. Just wondering if this is a straight forward swap? Also curious about gear ratios variances.

Its the same as the GT350, including gearing, so I think it will mostly bolt up, may need another cable for the Reverse sensor, and a driveshaft from a Mach1 or GT350, but shouldn't be hard to find the small changes. You'll have to swap out some PCM's though to get the No-Lift Shift to work.

Not really any point in the swap IMO unless your tranny is trashed. The only advantage would be the bit more aggressive gearing.

Interesting, thanks for the reply. Agreed on it being of no real benefit unless there was a need to replace.
