What does the android auto do in a 2020 gt 300a base car? All I can find is info on converting the base sync to a sync 3. Thanks for any help!

I don't know that we have any android auto integration—but, I'll give it a go tonight and report back. As I recall, it and CarPlay are exclusive to the 8" Sync 3 display. I don't tend to plug in my phone too often so, never given it much thought. What does the android auto do in a 2020 gt 300a base car? All I can find is info on converting the base sync to a sync 3. This is correct Nick. The base radio does not compatibility with either CarPlay or Android Auto. Need to step up to Sync3 if you really want AA.I don't know that we have any android auto integration—but, I'll give it a go tonight and report back. Wait, where did it say this?Ok thanks. I plugged my phone in to charge it for the first time & it said android auto was connected. I don't get along with computers thus I got the base gt!
Thank you, exactly. It is for use with mobile apps. It is not Android Auto.Likely it was signaling the fact Android Auto was running on the phone and audio connected by bluetooth to the stereo system.
Nope, for your car too. Page 340 of your owners manual and on the Ford Owner website. What are mobile apps? Or are they for sync 3 equipped cars?
