None taken. It’s a prelude, not an nsx. It’s a FWD car with a 2.3L NA 4 cylinder engine. 249whp was good for the time for that size engine, built in 2005.
I gotta see pics of this bad boy too. I have no shame in my love of Hondas.

Honda makes some very good cars. Sadly, a certain subset of the human race goes to great lengths to turn them into road going trash.

They're the kind of cars that you expect to turn the key and go A to B to C and back every day. No character, no quirks, super boring and not great at making the act of driving fun at all. They are more efficient and practical for more people and that's where they shine. Took my wife's car in for service a few years ago when I had my Mini Cooper and they tried to get me to trade it for something on their lot. My reply was "Honda doesn't make a car that can out perform my current one." Couple month ago same thing happened with the mustang and I told them the same thing. My wife and her parents are all about Honda and they've all been treated very well by their products, just not for me.

Totally agree. This was my 2018 2.0T. Tuned, Enkei wheels, Borla, black grill and tint. Flat out flew, seat 4 easily, and got great mileage. Wouldn't trade the Stang for the world though.

I actually had a '18 2.0t in 6 speed in that blue still night color, was a great looking color. My very first brand new car and one of the few you can get with manual. Engine was peppy and it made me power hungry and that's what I traded in for my '19 Bullitt! :)

If you can't play with the big dogs then get off the porch .
If any of us were big dogs, we’d own a Ford GT or some other super car…
Gonna give it a bath, make a run to the gunny's shop to pu my modded P365 XL. Then Bass Pro Shops. Life is good.
P365 is an excellent piece. Sounds like a good day to me.
i put a coat of chem brothers hydro-wax. looks good. eventually ill do a real cermaic coat but i need to redo strips asap...
I’m in need of stripe replacement on mine, can’t find my particular stripes anywhere.

Agreed. Same can be said for any group of car enthusiasts that support a specific car. Cue the cars and coffee mustang crash montage… 😂

I get that, but as the saying goes “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
When I got my prelude in 2001, the car was relevant. Deceptively quick, well made, handled well, and had some style. They weren’t inexpensive either, so not a lot of young people owned them. Wasn’t your run of the mill econobox civic.

Visited mine at the shop today. Hoping to get it back this afternoon. Finishing up the installation…..chasing a powertrain malfunction/reduced power after flashing tune from Roush.

Installed a catch can.
My JLT can probably go 10k miles before needing to be emptied but I empty it every 5k with oil change if not sooner.

So prior to the Mustang I had a '19 Charger Scat Pack. I was shocked at the amount of oil in the catch can I would have every 3-4K miles. Does the 302 have a lot of blow by as well?

This is my first catch can so no clue if it's a lot or normal. I will say I notice zero difference in how the car operates. The supposed robbed HP from blow by doesn't hit my butt dyno at all.
