Covered my cup holders. No drinking or eating in the car unless its the driver.

I would do this but I like the LED accent lights too much.
I almost never use the cupholders for their intended purpose.

Which tow ring is that? If ZL1 premium, was it hard to successfully mount it in the center?
It is the ZL1 center mount. You have to Drill through the crash bar, so for me it was a front bumper removal and some swearing using a carbide tip drill.
I have quick. Lips for the bumper removal, so it wasn’t too much of a pain.

I believe others have left the bumper on, but removed the underbody skirt. Either way it’s a bit of a job whichever way you go..

I plan to remove my bumper. I've done it before and it's not too hard. I leave the belly pan attached to it and it stands up nicely on a moving blanket. I am also removing my grille (also done before) for modding to use the VT big mouth duct.

My concern is accurately locating the angled receiver bracket precisely so as to get the shank to poke through a center cell in the grille grid. How did you do that?

I changed my lower grille during the same install, to fit custom brake ducting. The drop and dimension from the cross bar aligned perfectly with a honeycomb hole.
I did have to remove some material on the rear of the plastic grille, to clear part of the mount. But wasn’t a big issue.

Thanks, but even so, this is the receiver bracket, which was designed to use the existing two holes at the passenger end of the crash bar:

The shank just presses into one cell hole from the front. Does the stepped larger diameter portion remain outside the grille? That is the only way I would not have to cut grille cell(s).

I may just keep it simple and start with the off center mount and see how it goes.

Center mount runs behind the bar, with bolts from the top..
You have to drill top and center skin of the crash bar for the bolts run through.

I didn’t measure the specific center line of the shaft from the top of the bar, but a call to ZL1 should help.

Yeah, it's coming back to me now. There are so many offerings, and I spent a lot of time researching, and called ZL1 several times. Maybe I discussed the center option with them, but just decided to go with off-center. I don't even remember anymore, it's just a blur now.

Oh snap! I think I got this from my dealer for my Bullitt. Literally never took it out of the box as it's my daily. They do seem like nice covers though.

my GT/CS may be living outside this winter so I needed to protect it. We'll see how it holds up.

Nice. Got any photos before the stripes were removed? Is that your 19 PP2?
That is indeed my PP2, no pictures from before with stripes unfortunately. The paint was in this kind of shape all around the car - I just got it about a week ago. It was stored outside and never washed it seems. Buffed out great thankfully and I put a ceramic coat on as well.

Yeah they work out well enough. Also daily my car but sometimes travel for months for work. Only used it once so far and kept some dust off over an 8 month stint. Towel over the fender to protect the battery tender cord and a desiccant jug on the floor behind the passenger seat and good to go.

why not just get straps that can be looped over the crash bar or front/rear frame members? Seems WAY less hassle.

Yeah and WAY cheaper! $25 from Sparco.
I just don't see how to route them outside the car.
Forum link for this?
