Dam Ryan my experience was completely different and I even had the the A10 transmission cooler to deal with in between all that. WTF?!? with that clamp, never had one fail like that. Maybe having another set of hands was the difference with the tabs as we could work the bottom and the top at once when putting it all back together.Installed my PEEPEE Radiator upgrade. What a pain in my ass. It's an easy job, except when your batch of spring clamps were made of CHYNAH's finest pot metal. I shit you not, the one holding the lower hose had the ear snap clean off before I even got close to getting it over the little catch to release it. GARBAGE. I had to carefully cut it off and then fight with the remains to get the hose off without damaging it too much. Took a few hours. The condenser tabs were also fiddly in my application, the fitting block was bumping into the bottom of the retaining tab which was not allowing me to lift the condenser high enough to release it. I had to get creative to actually get it off without breaking anything. So yeah, 0/10 experience. It's not like I'm a novice either. Oh well, at least we got to the end with some of my sanity intact.
I'll find out tomorrow what the (probably small) differences are. I don't expect to see much difference with normal driving, the thermostat regulates that for the most part. Where I DO expect to see some gains are when I'm hauling ass up a mountain pass. The stock radiator really didn't like that much, CHT struggled to hold at 225 the last time, and I've seen as high as 230's before. As long as I'm under 220 from now on I'll be satisfied. I only paid $250 for this shipped, so it was a "why not" purchase. Now I know "why not" LMAO.

I can tell you after Sebring and some spirited back road driving my CHT's have been about 10 degrees cooler. Oil temps are getting to about 3/4 of the gauge and not into the yellow like they did at Daytona. It was worth the $250 IMO and after all that I hope it works out for you also!
