$34,807 from Vroom. $31,135 from Carvana.

Purchased used in May of 2020 with about 32000 miles.

Now has ~39000 miles. Still owe about $23000 on the car. Not sure if it's worth it selling and then looking for a new car again. I'll have to think on it.

Did your 19 PP1 have any other options? My Vroom offer was $41,300 for my 19 PP1 A10 301A
no. It's a 300A 6MT car compared to yours and my zip gives unfavorable pricing.

The only costs I can't recover: e85 tuning,
at least the device is portable. Talk to your tuner, they might give you a discount for re-issuing the tune for a new engine.

unfortunately, I think you may be right. Any one else want to put in their 2 cents?
with a commercial sale it's at least been thru a reconditioning and inspection. Nobody knows you and has no reason to believe anything you say... Going over a car would appeal to people who know nothing about cars or to those who drink the Mustang cool-aid but not many else. Cars are just interchangeable appliances - steel and rubber, not children. That mentality is dead and gone I think.

Then there is the hassle of financing and then your needing to validate their (fake?) cashier's check etc. With Vroom et. al. it's one stop financing and in some cases zero haggle.

Private party sales will probably be relegated to jalopies and cars with mods the corporates won't touch.

That's my $2 worth (adjusted for inflation after the Aus-CHN trade war)

Don't forget if you make a profit (sell for more than you bought) you have to pay capital gains taxes... Funny how you can't take a capital gains loss on a car but make a little money and uncle sam wants half.

Just reading that made my head feel like it was going to pop. Who in their right mind would ever thought about capitals gains on newish car.

What a weird time.
Outside of a dealer who in their right mind would admit to making a profit on a sale like that?

the fake-coin HODL didn't think about that but unfortunately for them their transaction history is known by a regulated 3rd party.

practically nobody will make those disclosures. Just like nobody pays 'usage' tax on all sorts of stuff acquired from the Internet.

I think people are honestly more interested in buying it from carvana and vroom more than peer to peer now a days. I literally read about people not even wanting to see a car before they buy it, they like the idea of just ordering a car and showing up on a vehicle or popping them out of the building dispenser.

people are becoming literally, anti social in all aspects.
Not antisocial, but with so many choices now, I'm not dealing with shit bags and tire kickers.

I mean as buyers. I read some article on this awhile back, people would rather pay more for the delivery/vending machine than want to go buy or negotiate a better deal in person.

Amazon”fication of sorts, click and shows up.

Vs any effort to go haggle down a better car and see in person. Just wait, people in 50 years a majority won’t even leave house for anything. Food, goods, cars, all automatically delivered

that's a LOUSY price for a 2020 left-over.
you want this one at least on a percentage basis, even though it's a couple notches higher up the features checklist

It looks like Lindsay is actually giving a dealer discount since I think 2021s only have a $750 rebate available but Battlefield's $4,000 "dealer discount" is actually just the $4,000 in rebates Ford is offering on 2020s.

Shogun, you sold to vroom, correct? Any issues ? I’ve heard stories they have low balled people once they get the car. I only had a few rock chips and a small chip in my windshield. I told them about that, otherwise , pristine. Thanks

selling. if you 'lie' on the intake form they reserve the right to re-negotiate. Though they want to charge a healthy freight charge to return vehicle. I think a call from an attorney might persuade them otherwise though.
