I bought a 2013 Boss 302 6 months ago from Carvana with 4000 miles and it was mint. I just sold my 19 GT to them and both experiences were excellent.
Hope you love the 302. Nice!

I sold mine to Carvana when they were on the kick of giving higher then usual offers. They picked it up at my house and it went straight to auction. They didn't even bother trying to re-sell it. It ended up across the state at a Ford Dealer who sold it to someone. I still had it in my carfax so I could see details. I then noticed whoever bought it eventually had it repossessed. Now its in Arizona. I do miss it.

Let’s say you’re making payments on your car and sell it to Carvana or other sellers. Do you or them pay the bank off? How do they get the title?

You give them the account number, they get the payoff and write you a check on the spot. They handle the payoff.

A lot of these companies like Carvana, Carmax are inundated with used vehicles. I would try and sell it privately. Carvana only wanted to offer me 28k for my 2020 Mustang GT with only 28.5k miles on her, I sold it for 33K.

curious - what made you go with a 13 B302 over your 19 GT? What’s your opinions of the vehicle difference in handling/performance?

I didn't buy the GT to get the Boss. I owned the GT since it was one year old and bought the Boss six months ago as an addition so it wasn't a matter of one over the other.

The GT is an automatic that my wife put most the miles on it but I recently was driving it more when she bought an SUV. Now the difference: The GT will outdo the boss in every category, handling, braking, acceleration, ride, and even mpg with me driving it anyway. The GT has a higher level of adhesion than the Boss and takes higher speeds to what I will call hear the tires begin to complain. I never had any issues what so ever with the A10 that you see posted all the time.

The Boss could be made better with aftermarket parts but I want to keep it original. The tags on all the parts underneath the car still look new, etc. The Boss is a piece of history, a legend if you will, a numbered car and special and I wanted to have one to see what the fuss is all about. I've never seen a bad review. It's a blast to drive. It seems smaller and lighter which is a big plus to me. The solid rear axle is less controlled on uneven pavement or washboards as expected but easy to toss around. The getrag trans shifts smooth and perfect, no high speed lockout. I have driven 3 original Bosses and none of them had high speed lock out. The shifter is less notchy than the 21 Mach 1 tremec.

My 21 Mach 1 is a manual and people always want to know how it compares to the Boss. I will say the same thing, it does everything better than the Boss. When asked which one I would keep I would say that's a hard question but maybe the Boss.

I got a little carried away, LOL, but I hope this helps. I've driven them all back to back so I think what I said was pretty accurate at least with me as the driver.

Wow, that’s a great find from Carvana. Nice.
Thanks, 4000 miles, one owner, all original, red key is activated.

It sounds like it, but 27,000 today is not worth nearly what it was nine years ago so you have to adjust for inflation.
