I grew up here so I know all about the bad streets, but there are also some nice places to drive too. I'm still using mine on the street and just try to be aware on the road I'm driving on. It's the same as with any other expensive wheels.

I love to drive this car. I love to track this car. I will keep it as long as I can physically drive it. Maybe my son can retire on the proceeds from it after I die....

OK, Here is my opinion.
I drove my R 7 hours from pick up. Both the wife and I were totally comfortable in the Recaros the entire time. I like the bolstering for posture correctness on long stints.OK, Here is my opinion.
Seats... Yes the comfort seats are way more comfortable then the Recaros. Especially for long trips. Especially miss the heated seats.
The car is lower, the splitter is larger on the R so you do have to be a bit more careful with clearance but its not a lot worse then a base 350.
The rear wing....... Non issue
The sound....prefer the bark of the R
Track......R is considerably quicker stock for stock
Conclusion is If I were to want a daily or a long distance driver I think the Base is the choice
If you want to drive 2 to 3 hours, track your car aggressively and are looking for some exclusivity, the R is the only choice.
All 350's are great cars!

I'd add white to that mix as I see so many shots of it blown out from sunlight. I have to employ some post processing trickery at times as much as my R5 tries hard to get it right when dialed in...
Check your white balance and always make sure to shoot the lowest iso possible. White can be tricky but usually white balance check and low iso stop blowouts.
I'm sure there are a lot of R owners that paid that extra money and aren't super happy that their car's aren't much different from a base gt350. Not many people will admit it, though. For the money, the "race" version of this car should have been a lot more different.Tim, agreed that this guy is really something else and he even suggested that Ford followed his lead and direction on some interior upgrades.
I have driven a lot of miles in various R models and not once was my vision ever hampered by the rear CF wing which he clearly does not like and suggests is much too heavy.
Lastly, it seems that the only aspect of the R model that attracted him to the this car was the CF wheels which just certainly indicates just how little he really knows about this model compared to the many R model owners on this forum.

oh that’s a loaded question. I’m a pro so I have two bodies.
that you can shoot in almost absolute darkness or really get creamy bokeh.
Not sure how much seat time that you have in an R model compared to your GT350 but can tell you that from my standpoint there is a significant difference between the two models both on the track and on the street.
